Free Mini Course: Foundational Principles of Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric

This free six-week introductory course will explore the foundational pillars of the Trivium: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. We will examine the vital tools of language and reasoning.

Students will be supported by a one-hour live weekly session with analysis and discussion. Students should commit an additional 1.5 hours per week for class preparation and readings.

Our Course

Our course is crafted to empower young Australian Muslims by equipping them with foundational classical tools of learning, including grammar, logic, and rhetoric. This framework facilitates their ability to absorb knowledge, comprehend the reasoning behind it, and articulate their thoughts persuasively.

Why a Classical Education ?

Why the Trivium?

''For we let our young men and women go out unarmed, in a day when armour was never so necessary. By teaching them all to read, we have left them at the mercy of the printed word. By the invention of the film and the radio, we have made certain that no aversion to reading shall secure them from the incessant battery of words, words, words. They do not know what the words mean; they do not know how to ward them off or blunt their edge or fling them back; they are a prey to words in their emotions instead of being the masters of them in their intellects.''

Dorothy Sayers, in the "The Lost Tools of Learning"
